Office Packing & Systematic Labelling Protocols

Eliminate first-morning chaos. Our color-coded crate systems, IT peripheral kits, and four-part labelling conventions ensure every workstation lands at its exact target floor plan position.

Why is systematic labelling the most critical part of an office move?

During an office move, dozens or hundreds of identical-looking monitors, docking stations, chair models, and filing crates are in motion simultaneously. Without a structured identification protocol, unloading leads to lost equipment and wasted staff hours. Systematic labelling maps every single box and desktop directly to the destination floor plan.

Key Operational Criteria:
  • Consistent four-part naming convention
  • Color-coded department and zone tags
  • Anti-static monitor and IT hardware protection
  • Tamper-evident seals for confidential archives
Operational note: Labels are affixed strictly to non-damaging surfaces (crate labels, tape strips, or removable corner tags) to prevent adhesive residue on finished office furniture.
Operational Example

The Four-Part Workplace Labelling Convention

Here is an example of the field-tested identification hierarchy we implement to coordinate multi-floor relocations without misplaced assets.

Sample Workstation Label Structure:
DEPARTMENT / WORKSTATION / DESTINATION ROOM / BOX NUMBER
Example Production Tag:
FINANCE / WS-12 / ROOM 2.14 / BOX 03
Color Key: BLUE (2nd Floor South)
01. DEPARTMENT

Determines truck loading order and unloading priority (e.g. Server Room, Finance, HR, Operations).

02. WORKSTATION

Unique identifier matching employee desk on the seating chart (e.g. WS-01 through WS-80).

03. DESTINATION ROOM

Physical door or open-plan zone number at the destination building (e.g. Floor 2, Room 2.14).

04. BOX NUMBER

Sequential item index (e.g. 01 of 03) ensuring all containers belonging to that desk are accounted for.
